The Rental Shop is your one-stop-shop for everything needed to get out and enjoy the slopes – lift tickets, rentals & lessons! From beginner to high-performance, our rental gear is specifically designed to accelerate the learning process for beginner skiers and riders and to make everyone more comfortable. Our staff will assist you with the proper boot fitting, explanation, and sizing of the equipment, and answer any questions you may have so you can focus on having fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We carry ski boot sizes from a child’s 9 to and adult 16, snowboard boot sizes from child’s 9 to adult 15, skis from 70cm-174cm, snowboards from 80cm-163cm and helmets from XS-XL.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Skier type refers to how conservative to aggressive a person skis and determines the release factor for ski bindings (ie: an aggressive skier requires a higher setting or \u201crelease factor\u201d to resist ski release while putting higher force on the bindings in hard turns). Deciding proper skier type is important to help minimize injuries while skiing. To determine your type, check out this document<\/a> for a description of types I, II, III.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Ski boots should be snug with no extra space except wiggle room for your toes. Light contact with the front of the boot is ok.
Snowboard boots should be snug but avoid toe contact with the front of the boot.
Only a tall sock and a thin base layer should be inside the boot\u2026NOT SNOWPANTS.
Poorly fitting boots can result in difficulty controlling your skis if too loose or even frostbite if too tight.

A rental package includes skis, boots and poles or snowboard and boots. Helmets are rented separately to keep our package prices down for those that do not desire one.

Water-proof\/wind-proof outer materials and non-cotton base layers are highly recommended. Hats, neck warmers and water-proof gloves\/mittens to cover your extremities are important. Dressing in layers will help you make the most of your day.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
