Res-Q-Jack Partners With Greek Peak for 8th Stabilization University Conference

CORTLAND, New York (October 16, 2023) – Res-Q-Jack, Inc. is pleased to announce that Greek Peak Mountain Resort has been selected, for the 8th time, to host the 18th annual STABILIZATION UNIVERSITY extrication training program on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 8 AM to 5 PM. “Greek Peak Mountain Resort, celebrating their 65th anniversary this year, is the perfect setting for our annual Stabilization University, as we celebrate our 25th anniversary,” said John Meier, President of Res-Q-Jack, Inc. “With phenomenal staff that provides top-notch customer service, Greek Peak brings the perfect complement to our unparalleled training program at an ideal training site.”

Res-Q-Jack, Inc.’s Stabilization University is the largest and most extensive vehicle extrication/stabilization program for America’s First Responders. This intensive, hands-on training program provides firefighters and rescue technicians with the technical training needed in auto extrication, technical rescue, structural collapse and stabilization operations. Each Stabilization University program begins with brief classroom instruction on Res-Q-Jack’s patented lifting techniques and then moves outside to tackle realistic, hands-on scenarios. The program curriculum is the standard of the industry with leading instructors from 15+ states across the country teaching everything from the fundamentals to more advanced techniques.

The program includes many different stations, utilizing over 40 passenger cars, farm equipment, one tractor trailer, several large buses, and a boat. Scenarios will include basic vehicle side-rest and roof-resting lifts, truck and agricultural vehicle stabilization, as well as more unique scenarios with the use of a tripod and the Darlington Roll. Stabilization University is the leading-edge training resource for stabilization and lifting techniques. This year, Res-Q-Jack will be hosting 185 students from 14 states.
